This Privacy Policy explains how SI Money Tracker ("we," "our," or "the app") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our iOS application. We built this app to help you track and understand your finances, and we handle your data with that responsibility in mind. This policy is displayed in-app and is available at this public link at all times.
We follow data minimization: we collect only what is needed to provide the app's functionality.

It is sent to our server and passed on to Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) to fetch the weather and sunrise/sunset for where you are; the moon phase is calculated on our server. Our server keeps a copy rounded to about 1 km for 15 minutes, a ~1 km-rounded line in its calculation ledger with your account identifier, and the request in its standard server log. Coupon store alerts and the calculator's altitude, compass, and motion readings never leave the device. | To show local conditions — never for tracking or advertising. We maintain a documented information security program covering how data is protected, including encryption in transit and at rest, restricted administrative access, secrets management, regular patching, and a defined incident response process. Sign-in to the app is protected with multi-factor authentication (via Sign in with Apple or a managed authentication provider supporting TOTP/SMS), which is required before you can link a bank account.
We retain your account and financial data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the app's services. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

SI Money Tracker is not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We review this policy at least annually and update it whenever our data practices materially change. The "Effective Date" above reflects the most recent update, and continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
